Admission Procedure
Eligible applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and meet the university's general graduate school admission requirements. The scope and content of the applicant’s academic preparation must indicate the ability to successfully complete the chosen curriculum.

Applicants seeking a Master's Degree, Sixth-year, or Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) certificate must submit the following materials:
- Completed University of Hartford application for graduate study
- Official transcripts
- Two letters of reference from professional or academic sources
- An essay specifying the area of proposed study, professional goals and educational philosophy.
- Interview with appropriate program faculty (Faculty member will complete an interview summary form.)
